Module 5 – Principles of Chemotherapy
“Principles of Chemotherapy” is the 5th module in the Pediatric Oncology Nursing Course
project. These modules are a collaborative effort led by the SEAPHO* Nursing Committee. The
learning objectives for this module are to:
- Define chemotherapy and how it is used to treat cancer
- Explore how chemotherapy affects the cell cycle
- List common classifications of chemotherapy agents
- Examine different types of chemotherapy treatment
- Describe the common side effects associated with chemotherapy

- Liệt kê các cách phân loại phổ biến các tác nhân hóa trị
- Tìm hiểu các loại khác nhau của điều trị hóa trị.
- Mô tả các tác dụng phụ thường gặp có liên quan đến hóa trị.
