Module 6 – Safe Handling & Administration of Chemotherapy

Nursing Course project. These modules are a collaborative effort led by the SEAPHO* Nursing
Committee. The learning objectives for this module are to:

• Understand how to safely deliver chemotherapy to minimize risk to nurses, patients, and
  family members
• Explore different types of chemotherapy administration
• Identify potential complications when administrating chemotherapy
• Recognize the importance of policies for safe chemotherapy handling and administration

“Thực hành và sử lý hoá trị an toàn” là module thứ 6 trong dự án chương trình huấn luyện Điều
Dưỡng Ung Bướu Nhi Khoa. Những module này là sự nỗ lực hợp tác do Hội đồng Điều dưỡng
SEAPHO đứng đầu . Mục tiêu học tập của module này là :

• Hiểu được làm thế nào để thực hiện hóa trị an toàn để hạn chế tối thiểu nguy cơ cho Điều
  Dưỡng, bệnh nhân và các thành viên trong gia đình.
• Khám phá các loại quản lý hóa trị khác nhau.
• Nhận biết các biến chứng tiềm ẩn khi thực hiện hóa trị
• Nhận biết tầm quan trọng của chính sách quản lý và xử lý hóa trị an toàn.
